Seasons Greeting

Seasons Greeting

Hi all,

There hasn’t been much happening these days except for the mini-LAN tournament that took place @ Gamehaven last saturday.

It’s the time of the year again, to let your hair down and celebrate an ending of a great year.

We hope that next year will be a better year for everyone, as well as for source.

Wishing one and all, happy holidays.

Indomitable signing off…

UPDATE! : Regarding whether Battle Royale will still commence.

UPDATE! : Regarding whether Battle Royale will still commence.

I’m sure all the teams that signed up so far are wondering whether the league is still going to happen.

With only 6 teams registered for the league, it is highly likely that the league is going to be cancelled.

And yes the final call will be that if by 7 November 2009 the total tally for registered teams is <12,

Battle Royale will be called off due to lack of participants making the organisation of a competition totally meaningless.

We will like to thank the teams out there that have registered so far, you may want to help us spread the word regarding this issue so that more teams will sign up.

and YES any team that signs up for Battle Royale now will still be subjected to the early registration fee of 70SGD as we are lowering the registration fee to 70SGD permanently.

And if unfortunately that we are unable to get at least 12 teams for Battle Royale, all registration fees paid will be refunded.

Thank you all who have been supporting us so far.

We hope we will get 12 teams at least (:

if we cannot even help oursleves, our own community, who will.

CS:S NEXT CHALLENGE RESULTS WEEK 3

CS:S NEXT CHALLENGE RESULTS WEEK 3

Team Indomitable will face off with Team [G]-Akatsuki and Team XTC on Saturday 5 September 2009 in the “NEXT” CS:S Weekly Challenge.

Team Indomitable will be facing [G]-Akatsuki at 12pm followed by Team XTC at 3pm @ Gamehaven.

The lineups for the 2 challenging teams are as follows.

Team Indomitable vs [G]-Akatsuki 16-0 de_dust2 16-0 de_train
Team Indomitable vs [G]-Akatsuki

Team Indomitable deso, fabian, ash, james, jevon
[G]-Akatsuki ZETSU, BIGBOSS, XiaoBubble, FierySting, IcYWolf

Against Team [G] -Akatsuki, at the back of all our minds we thought it’d be a close fight as they definitely appeared formidable with them dawning their uniforms with striking colours and being established for over a year.

Maybe it’s because they were new to Counterstrike: Source itself that the results stand for itself. Good game anyways.

Team Indomitable vs Team XTC 9-16 de_dust2, 12-16 de_inferno

Team Indomitable vs Team XTC

Team Indomitable deso, ash, james, shifty, jevon
Team XTC Prodigy, vincent, haru, jvl, strider

I really am speechless at how we played today, maybe it’s because the earlier matches fed our ego because if you’d seen how we’ve played, it was absolutely abysmal.

Let us begin with de_dust2, now our regular strats may not be the same because JAMes isn’t playing so his magic wasn’t present for the duration but apparently that opens up for failure, miscommunication, und so weiter. Co-ordination with our nades, movement wasn’t even up to par, much less the standard we’ve shown when we played Theodore “zphenz” online, the difference is vast, the absence of JAMes may be detrimental but not to an extent where we become complete scrubs in a game we’ve played for god knows how long.

CT Side

Alley didn’t have its usual vis a vis confrontation where JAMes! would pick his enemies 1-on-1 and the opposing team would develop an abjuratory from alley instead there was constant abuse on alley and it obviously worked to their favor winning 10-5 to XTC for the first half.

T side
I don’t recall a time where this team I’m in actually lost a first round in de_dust2 terrorist side, oh wait let me rephrase that. I don’t recall a time where we’ve developed so many idiosyncrasies in such a short period that made us play in the most unprofessional style for the first round resulting in a loss for the first round. There, oh you want details? How’s jumping Ct spawn in a 3v5 situation ? That was seriously epic, E-P-I-C.
So many crazy shots were made and yet we lost the map 16-9.

Moving on,
T side – de_inferno.

We did a good start, winning the eco round, doing a lot of crazy shots, so much that the CT was rendered useless coming up to 8-7 first half.

CT side – de_inferno

Now I know what you’re thinking, coming up from T- side with a first half score of 8-7, this should be a ezpz win yea? WRONG. Eco round was lost, not to mention because we’ve been notorious for our deagle pushes and such, our egos were fed massively to an extent where we thought our deagles were a gift from god leading to the most ridiculous pushes, rushes ,und so weiter.
